Pure yellow pours are rarer than you would think — most yellow on the shelf arrives as gold, honey or ochre, often with shimmer mixed in to push it towards metal. When makers do go full highlighter-bright, it is deliberate: bee, mango and “caution tape” theme pours.

Yellow is also a workhorse in fades. Sitting between orange and green on the wheel, it turns up mid-gradient in a huge share of multi-colour pours, which is why its pour count here is larger than the number of visibly “yellow toys” you would guess from photos.
