Purple might be the most collected colour in fantasy toys. It flatters every sculpt style — regal on dragons, otherworldly on tentacles, soft and friendly in pastel lilac — and it sits exactly between the warm and cool shelves, so it pairs with everything.

Galaxy pours live here: deep purples marbled with blues, pinks and shimmer that genuinely look like nebula photos. If a maker does one showpiece pour, odds are it is purple.

How purple shows up in silicone

Solid amethysts and plums hold rich colour at any firmness. Marbles and galaxy blends are the signature — purple takes shimmer and colour-shift pigments better than most families. Purple glow pours daylight-read as lavender and charge to a soft violet-blue.

Who tends to love it

Names the community uses

Near Clear
also called NC, nearclear, near-clear and see-through A silicone rather than a colour: translucent platinum silicone that several makers pour under the same name. Makers tag it Nearclear or NC; shoppers looking for it type clear or see-through.
Marble
also called marbled, marbling, full marble and ribbons Colours swirled through each other instead of laid side by side. The wiki files ribbons here too — ribboning is the technique that produces the marble look.
