The one-paragraph version
When a maker we cover runs an affiliate programme, buying through our links can earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you — the price on their site is the price you pay either way. Commissions never change what we list, how the fit engine ranks, or what the spec tables say.
The current, honest status
As of today, none of the four makers we track — Pleasure Forge,
Strange Bedfellas, Wandering Bard Toys, Mr Hankey's Toys — runs an
affiliate programme with us. Every outbound link on the site
currently earns us nothing at all. When that changes, this page changes
the same day, and affiliate links gain the standard
rel="sponsored" marking.
The rules we hold ourselves to
- Same shelf for everyone. A maker with a commission and a maker without one get identical treatment in browse, search, quiz and fit results.
- Specs are untouchable. Measurements, verification badges, stock states and price history report what the data says — never what a partner would prefer.
- No sponsored content. No paid reviews, no paid placements, no "featured" slots for sale. If that ever changes it will be labelled in the open, not buried here.
- Disclosure where the money is. Every page with outbound buy links carries a plain-words disclosure near those links, plus this page in the footer of every page.
Why tell you all this
Because trust is the entire product. The moment you suspect the numbers bend for money, every badge on this site is worthless — so the numbers don't bend, and this page exists so you can hold us to that. Something look off? Call it out.
