A small US maker with a deliberately curated catalogue — one listing per physical pour, and the tidiest labelling of any shop we track: every piece tagged with its size class and firmness. The range runs from super-soft squish to firm, including their near-clear pours.

Strange Bedfellas is a small US maker running the in-stock pour model: they pour first, then list, and every listing is one physical, photographed toy ready to ship. The roster stays deliberately small — a set list of sculpts, each appearing across a rotating cast of colourways and firmnesses as pours come off the bench. The effect is a shop that feels edited, and a catalogue where the same beloved sculpt can be had soft and marbled this month, firm and glittered next.
The practical upshot of pour-first shopping: what you see exists now. There’s no build queue and no made-to-order wait, and no way to request a specific combination either. You shop the shelf as it stands, which makes the drops feed and a saved search worth more here than almost anywhere.
One unglamorous thing SBF does consistently: every toy is tagged with its size class and firmness. That sounds like faint praise until you’ve tried to parse a hundred indie listings where the firmness lives in a photo caption and the size lives in the title. SBF’s consistency is why their corner of our database is one of the cleanest — the specs you filter on here arrived machine-readable.
Their published dimensions follow the freeform head/shaft/base style, girth at the working points of the sculpt, which maps neatly onto the standard measuring vocabulary. One SBF-specific reading note: their “base diameter” is the flat harness disc, so it isn’t a girth measurement — worth knowing before you compare it against anything else.
SBF pours on the industry’s familiar rungs: Soft (00-30), Medium (00-50), Firm (10A, on select toys). Those figures are SBF’s own, reaching us through retailer listings and reviews rather than a page we could fetch directly, and Soft’s 00-30 is corroborated by a reviewer’s squish test of the Ceela. A Super Soft (00-20) tier turns up on some pieces too, seen on a retailer listing. The full evidence trail, footnotes and all, is in the cross-brand firmness table.
Two feel-notes worth carrying into a purchase. Their softer pours are genuinely soft: the same reviewer put the 00-30 tier at about the give of a palm muscle, and it forgives girth generously (why softness reads smaller). And their Near Clear pours share the material’s universal quirk — nominally about 00-31 fresh, firming toward 00-45 to 00-50 with heat and age. It arrives a soft and matures into a medium; we flag it wherever it applies.
Strange Bedfellas pours ultra-soft to firm on the one 5-step scale we use across every maker. Their “Super Soft 00-20” maps to our ultra-soft. We translate every maker's own firmness words onto that common scale, so “soft” means the same thing wherever you're shopping.
Across the 38 sculpts and 115 sizes we track, Strange Bedfellas's widest girth runs from about 2.2″ to 19.0″ around. Every size is measured per point on its own page.
"All toys come sealed in plastic bags. We wrap your order in colored tissue paper and pack it in a plain brown or white box. Other than your shipping label there are no markings on the outside of the box." The return address lists the company as "SB Creative LLC" on domestic shipping labels.
