The shop, in a nutshell

Pleasure Forge is a US indie built on one rule: every listing is one physical object. Nothing here is made to order. Each toy is poured, photographed as it actually exists, listed once and sold once. The pour you see, down to the exact swirl of colour, is the pour that arrives, and when it’s gone that precise object won’t exist again; the sculpt returns later in a different colourway, or it doesn’t return.

That changes the shopping logic. There’s no ordering it in blue next month, only what’s on the shelf tonight — which is why their catalogue rewards watching (our drops feed exists for exactly this rhythm), and why a good share of their listings at any moment are already sold. Sold-out one-offs stay visible as a gallery of what they can do.

What their spec sheets publish

Where most makers list a length and a girth, Pleasure Forge publishes circumference and diameter, each at both maximum and minimum, plus total and usable length: the widest and slimmest working points of a sculpt, as numbers. Of the makers we track they’re also the only one publishing diameters at all; everyone else’s diameters (ours included) are derived via π and marked ~.

That density of numbers is what makes fantasy shapes legible. A sculpt whose girth swings from slim tip to substantial base is exactly the object a single-number spec misleads about, and exactly where max/min figures, read against our measuring-points guide, earn their keep.

Firmness: the standard ladder, published

Pleasure Forge pours on the industry’s standard rungs and publishes them plainly on their own site: Super Soft (00-20), Soft (00-30, or 00-31 in Near Clear), Medium (00-50), Firm (10A) — with the note that Firm is rarely used for whole toys and mostly appears in suction-cup bases. They point beginners at Medium themselves.

Their onboarding page also says outright that Shore hardness on toys is “a tool for comparison and conversation” rather than a repeatable lab measurement, and that firmness can vary between batches of silicone from their supplier. That’s the same position we take across this site. They don’t sell firmness sample discs; their own suggestion for feel-testing on a budget is their small “Forgelings” pieces. Before you buy a one-off

• One listing, one object. There’s no second chance at the same pour, which makes the spec table the thing to read first: check the max girth against what you know fits before the colourway does the deciding.
• Flops and seconds get listed. PF periodically lists cosmetically imperfect pours at a discount, with the flaw described. Same silicone and the same specs at a lower price, and the materials guide explains why a cosmetic flaw doesn’t change how a platinum-silicone toy performs or cleans.
• Near Clear firms with age. Their translucent pours are nominally Soft (00-31) and drift toward medium over time, a property of the clear material itself, flagged wherever it applies on our toy pages.
• The photo is the product. Colourway roulette — the usual indie experience where your pour differs from the listing photo — doesn’t arise here. What you see is what ships.
