Owners put the comfortable increment at half an inch of circumference per step up, an inch at the very most. Anything wider is where the “I sized up and regretted it” posts come from — girth is the constraint, not length.
Published girths don’t increase in the maker’s own size order at Monster → Pocket — we’ve left that step out rather than print a jump we can’t stand behind.

Girth beats the label. Creature Feature Toys put it plainly: "Firmness may vary slightly depending on the girth and details of each model, as well as differences from silicone manufacturing. Rarely, they may feel a bit firmer or softer than expected."1
Soft mutes texture. The softer the pour, the less of the surface you feel. It's the trade-off behind the question owners ask each other most often when a configurator makes them choose — one we read repeatedly across our own thread corpus, never from a maker. Girthy and smooth points at soft, girthy and heavily textured points at softer still, and firm is what you pick when you want the texture to land.

Creature Feature Toys offer it in “Firm 10A”, “Medium 00-50”, “Soft 00-30” and “Super Soft 00-20”. On our common scale that runs Firm 10A → firm, Medium 00-50 → medium, Soft 00-30 → soft and Super Soft 00-20 → ultra soft, each with the source behind it on our firmness table. Size moves the answer as much as the label does — Creature Feature Toys say so themselves: "Firmness may vary slightly depending on the girth and details of each model, as well as differences from silicone manufacturing. Rarely, they may feel a bit firmer or softer than expected." Softer silicone also mutes texture, so if you're buying this for what the surface does, firmer keeps more of it.

Creature Feature Toys say silicone lube will damage it. They name water-based and oil-based lube as safe. In their words: "Do not use silicone-based lubricants. Oil-based lubricants should be fine, but we only recommend water-based lubricants for the best time! Certain materials can degrade the silicone over time, so be sure to check ingredients and spot test on the base before use." It adds a detail nobody else does: "Take care to keep your toy away from shampoos or other soaps that may contain silicone." Condoms are optional but must not be silicone-lubricated. Makers genuinely disagree on this one, so a rule you've read on another maker's page may not hold here.

Straight from Creature Feature Toys: Soap and water before and after every use; boil 5–10 minutes, top-rack dishwasher, or a 10:1 water-to-bleach soak. Never boil bleach. Wash thoroughly with soap and water before and after each use — gentle antibacterial soap or a purpose-made toy cleaner. Avoid abrasives and harsh chemicals. Sanitise by boiling 5–10 minutes; use a round-edged utensil to keep the toy off the pot's bottom and sides. Dishwasher top rack is fine, if the machine is free of detergent residue.

Three routes. Restock drops for ready-to-ship stock. Made to Order: pre-set colourations released periodically on a Made to Order page, sometimes with a limited extra option like drip colour. Custom: choose model, size, firmness, two colours and pour style. Complex customs (drips, extra colours, GITD, hand painting) are quoted by email in limited availability, with 72 hours to confirm and pay before the slot lapses. Their own stated windows — ready-made: "approximately 1–5 business days" to ship and custom repour after a fault: an additional 1–4 weeks. Those windows are the maker's own published figures.
