The shop, in a nutshell

Mr Hankey’s Toys is a Los Angeles workshop with a clear identity: big sculpts, built to order. Most come in three to five sizes, typically from a still-substantial small up through XL, XXL and beyond, and nothing sits poured on a shelf waiting — you order, they make it, it ships when it’s cured. The range spans hyper-realistic pieces and full fantasy, with a house tendency toward scale that has made “the big one is from Hankey’s” a reliable community shorthand.

Two practical consequences of the made-to-order model. Everything in the catalogue is always buyable, so there’s no stock clock and no drop to catch. And you choose the configuration: firmness, colour and effects, and options like a suction base are picked at order time in their customiser.

Per-size spec tables

Every size of every sculpt gets its own table — circumference at head, middle and base, insertable and overall length, weight. Where a single chart per sculpt is the norm, Hankey’s publishes one per size. At the upper end of their range that precision is exactly what you want, and it’s why their corner of our database is so complete.

Use it the obvious way: find your current comfortable maximum (measured properly), then read a sculpt’s size table until the girth numbers cross your line. Their “small” frequently isn’t small, and the beginner guide’s warning about size letters being house convention applies here with feeling.

Firmness: percentages, and what they translate to

Hankey’s speaks its own firmness dialect: percentages and phrases — “75% Soft”, “Medium Firm” (their standard), “40% Soft” and “Extra Firm” (upcharges) — described on their site by comparison to erection states, with no Shore durometer values published anywhere as of July 2026. That’s internally consistent and untranslatable without outside evidence, so here’s the evidence we have: a 2018 review that squish-tested a Dragon in 75% Soft placed that firmness between 00-30 and 00-50 on the Shore 00 scale, which anchors the rest of their ladder by ordering. Our cross-brand table holds those rows at stated confidence levels; the footnote symbol there means “our best-evidence reading”, not “maker-published”.

Configuration notes from their own pages, worth knowing: “Packer Soft” is explicitly a novelty and packing firmness, unsuitable for insertion, and their Extra Firm is described by the maker as hard, unforgiving and not for beginners. Where their percentages land against every other maker’s words is the firmness explorer’s job.

Before you order

• Build time is real time. Made-to-order means a build queue, so check the lead time quoted on the product page before you plan around a date.
• Read the girth before the size letter. An XL here is a big object by any measure. The per-size tables make that easy to check, and sizing up gradually between orders is the cheap way to learn your ceiling.
• The default firmness isn’t the softest. “Medium Firm” is the standard pour, and the softer 75% is a no-cost choice you have to make actively. Coming from a soft indie pour, check the translation table before you accept the default.
